Lubrication
Grease is widely used in lubricating the anti friction bearing. The standard grease recommended by Mitsubishi Electric is SHELL DRUM R grease which is superior in lubrication, lubricating life, water and heat resistivity. The anti-friction bearing is supplied with required amount of grease at the time of motor assembly in the shop, but grease is to be again added at the time of the trial run at the site or after the motor has been left un-operated for more than two months.
Caution
Only SHELL DRUM R is to be used. If different grease is mixed, a chemical change occurs and the lubricating capacity is greatly decreased
Supply Of Grease
The lubricating capability of the originally-supplied grease decreases as the motor is operated for a certain period of time. Therefore, more grease should be supplied depending on the bearing size and motor revolution after the motor has been operated for a certain period of time. Plate indicating the supply amount of grease fitted at the motor frame.
Grease is to be supplied by means of a grease gun, and grease nipple is to be cleaned before using the gun. (Fig. 1-4)
be sure to supply grease while the motor is in operation
be sure to supply grease while the motor is in operation
Caution
A care should be taken not to supply an excessive amount of grease as this may cause the overheating of the bearing

Wow, wonderful weblog layout! How long have
ReplyDeleteyou ever been running a blog for? you made running a blog glance easy.
The total look of your website is magnificent, as well as the

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the structure of your site?
ReplyDeleteIts very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two images.
Maybe you could space it out better?
